Is your organisation inclusive of involuntarily childless non-parents?
Is it assumed your staff are either parents or childfree by choice?
If so, you might be excluding the diverse lived experiences of up to 15-20% of your workforce.
How can we be more supportive and inclusive of our involuntarily childless peers?
We are daughters, sisters, friends and colleagues. Workplace cultures, policies and practices might be unintentionally triggering childlessness grief, trauma and shame, or based on stigma and stereotypes that exclude us.
We offer diversity and inclusion training for involuntary childless staff. If you’d like to better support involuntary childless staff, please reach out.
